- Birthday gifts for those children who are hospitalized on that special day
- Comfort objects to be used during procedures in the Pediatric Emergency Dept.
- Provide parents with their own events....i.e., an arts & crafts evening w/ dinner
- Special performances and events for patients--storytellers, musicians, magicians and artists who entertain the patients throughout the year.
- New clothing for children who are in the hospital on Christmas and Easter so that they are able to look and feel special for the Holidays!
- Weekend Child Life Assistant so we can keep playrooms open
- Support part of a Child Life Specialist's salary in the ER
- Adjustable wheelchair/handicap accessible basketball nets/hoops for our basketball court
- Laptop computers
- DVD players and DVDs
- Updated playroom toys and equipment
